Completed in 1957, this 21-storey building was the headquarters of Imperial Oil, Canada's largest oil company. After several decades of use as the head office, the company moved operations in 2004 to Calgary, Alberta and the building stayed vacant until it sold in 2010 and converted into The Stunning Imperial Building that we have today.
I love this building for what it has to offer. It has become one of my favourite in the area. The developers managed to build a modern Lifestyle building while still keeping the historical Art Deco throughout the building. The amenities are high end (unlike most Condo Buildings), with indoor pool, a great size modern gym and an incredible lounge/Party room where you can simple come down to unwind.
When you enter unit 724 you will notice the high ceiling and large windows that have an unobstructed northern view of Avenue Road right up to Upper Canada College. The unit has upgraded pot lights, sliding frosted glass doors, an amazing, modern style white kitchen with build-in, top-of-the line appliances, 10 foot high Ceilings, good size den and Master Bedroom. There unit also has its own locker and parking.
Located at the corner of St Clair Ave. W and Avenue Road, the building has an impressive Longo's and LCBO store right in the lobby so you never have to worry about stepping outside to pick up the essentials. Another awesome benefit is that the Yonge Subway is about a 6 min walk (450m) or take the street car right which stops in front of the building.
The Uptown Toronto Lifestyle you've always dreamed can now be yours.
